My situation is a little unusual and vague although I do have some very specific details and was hoping, especially given an accurate location, someone may be able to help.
I am new to Norwich and met someone on a train on Saturday 16th October coming into Norwich. We talked for a while and she left me her details asking me to call and I promised I would call her back. I have managed to leave her number on the train and we both had to rush off her - I have been searching Norwich since.
I don`t know her name nor she mine but I do know a few specifics that I`m hoping may be enough.
She is in her 20`s and originally from Stirlingshire, Scotland but has lived in Norwich since school age. She is an independent financial advisor in the city working, I believe, from home.
She lives within a couple of miles of the city centre. I have written many emails, made lots of calls and spent hours on the road. I know all this all sounds vague but we both desperately wanted to see each other again and its so frustrating knowing she is only a few miles from me.
I understand fully that a name is, I would imagine, a prerequisite but I am hoping the other details and the very narrow gegraphical area as well as perhaps your contacts in the region may help somehow.
I appreciate your time reading this email and I would be extremely grateful for any advice you could give me.

Hello this is a long shot but Im trying to find my real grandparents, aunties uncles etc. My dad JON had a TWIN RICHARD and were born in DECEMBER early 1950s. I am Captains George Black Orsbornes daughter. My father was a Skipper at the age of 21. I have to say we children were brought up with a good mother and father. When he came in from sea it was always exciting. He would take us children off to the beach at Cleethorps or to the boating lake rent a boat and take us on the lake. He was a very happy man he had a good voice and would sing and laugh and we had fun. Also he would play games with us. I laugh as it did not matter how small the children were, we had to learn Morse code with flags or a flashlight. He would also tell us we had to know the stars. He would take my brother Jim to sea and let some of his men take their kids on their summer holiday and I have photos of the kids. Then there is the story when he saved the ship the “Lord Darling.” He could of lost his life and his men, but he saved the ship. The company did not like that so then he started getting bad ships. I cannot understand why the News Papers do not check out some of the people who wrote story about my father. In addition these people did not even know my father. The truth is he had a big heart a great personality and was also also a good looking man. They called him Earl Flynn. I remember when seamen came to the house and would as dad if he could help them out. He always gave them money and he would tell mom, “look they are deck hands and the poor devils only make 18 shilling a week they have to feed their kids.” In 1936 I remember there was a knock at the front door. Dad was doing the wash as mom was in the hospital. I call Dad. I knew the three gentlemen very well as they where good friends my Dad. He would take my mom and my brother Jim and I down the dock to their office. This is the first time they had ever came to our house. They had given him the ship the “Gypsy Love” and it was no good, he could not even get it out the dock. So he turned around had a job getting it back in and told them I am staying home, my wife is in hospital and my brother is here from Canada I know there names. They asked dad why did he not throw it (the ship) on the bloody rocks? Dad said, “ that not my cup of tea.” Dad said, “I am a good Skipper I bring in good catches of fish. Mr. TM said, “ yes that is because you go poaching, and we can put you behind bars.” Dad was laughing and said, “ what the hell for, I go out a little farther because there is to much bloody oil in the North Sea. Mr. TM called him a mad bugger. Now all the three men are arguing with him, I heard it all because I was feeding my brother Bobby who was sitting in the high chair. I have to laugh as my uncle started playing the guitar. Jim said, “ Dod I think they want to get ride of you.” I know the whole Story of the Girl Pat. That night Mr. J.V came to the house to tell dad every thing had been taken off the Girl Pat. I cannot tell all as I am writing a book and it will be the true story. Dad took me to the hospital to see my mother and he asked mom would I be able to take care of the children. Mom said yes, and he told her, “ don’t worry lass I know the sea like the back of my hand.”
So I was left me to take care my brother and sisters.
