Sadie Muirhead 1946

It would mean so much to me if I could find news of my mother, who left home soon after I was born (I was brought up by my father). She is Sadie Coles nee Muirhead. She married William Henry Coles in 1946 in Islington, London and they had three children, twins and myself, Charles Thomas Tolfrey Coles. Sadie left home in the 1950’s and was last seen in Bristol in the 1960’s. None of the Muirhead family in London know anything about her. Do please reply if you know anything at all.

I was born Kim Renee Chaney on 20th February 1970 in England to American Service parents. It would mean so much to me to have any news at all of my mother who returned to the United States soon after I was born, to continue her education in Washington D.C. I was adopted by a loving English family. I do know that my father had a relationship of some years with my mother but was killed in Viet Nam at the age of 20. If any of his family see this message, I would love to hear from them as well. My mother was Vicky Jeanne Chaney, but I guess she is married now. She would be about 50 years old today. My father was born David Atoigue in Guam but later adopted and given the adoptive surname of Gorton. I am married now and have a lovely little girl, so I am sure Vicky would love to see her granddaughter.

My name is Janice, and I would so like to find my birth mother. When she had me on 20.5.1966 at the age of 17 her name was Elizabeth Isbell. I have ascertained that she married a David John Masters in October, 1970 in Kingsbury, London, and they had a son named Christopher Stephen in November 1972 who is of course my half brother. So far I have not been able to trace Elizabeth or Christopher, and would be so happy to hear of them.

I was born on 5.10.1934 in Norwich, in those days what was called illegitimate. My natural father was named Russell Wayling, and he was in his early twenties at the time. He had a small electrical shop in King Street, Norwich, but went into the Army in 1935. We have not been able to trace him since, either in active service records, or marriage or death records. If any member of the Wayling family in Norwich has any news at all of Russell, I would be so grateful to hear from them.

I was born 25th November 1941 to an unmarried housekeeper in Glasgow and subsequently adopted. Because I was brought up by such loving adoptive parents, I have not tried until now to find my birth mother. Her name in 1941 was Jessie MacDonald, and she lived at 56 Glenapp Street in Glasgow. UKPF have done a lot of research, but here are simply too many marriages in Scotland of Jessie MacDonald in the 1940’s to make any progress. Jessie may originally have come from the North of Scotland.
