About Active Searching for People
Actively Search for Missing Persons, Missing Friends, and Missing Family. Finding somebody in a population of over 60 million depends almost entirely upon the amount and accuracy of the information you have. We cannot find John Smith. But we can find John Robert Smith, known date of birth, and some information known about area of the country, possible marriage record, brothers and sisters, etc.
Remember the Importance of a Time Scale. Tell us when certain things happened, even if only approximately.
Our techniques for finding missing relatives and missing friends include use of public records of births, marriages and deaths, combined with address databases. Therefore wherever possible, tell us about other family members as well. Generally, we cannot natural find birth fathers whose name does not appear on son’s or daughter’s birth certificate, unless his own birth record can be found. We also cannot find adopted persons, unless their adoptive name is known. For cases like this, please use our Message Match service.
